This is the first time I've ever written anything publicly, other than a public notice for work. And that's just an agenda, it's nothing personal. My name is Megan and I have a person with whom I share my life (partner/SO/boyfriend), Ward, and a son Mack. I don't have a good reason for starting to write things in this kind of public forum. Why not?

Tonight I'm watching the Big Lebowski for the 8th time because my dad is visiting and he loves this movie, almost as much as Ward does. It's a perennial favorite - we watch it in increments over a few evenings of wine and pizza whenever he is in town.

Mard is Megan + Ward. It's our Hollywood moniker, coined by Jack. Plus it sounds like a Viking soldier; Light the signal fire, Mard cometh.
